Terms of Service

Effective date: July 17, 2026

These terms govern your use of the Happinly app, provided by Naarte (naarte.no), Norway. By creating an account or using the app, you agree to these terms. If you do not agree, please do not use the app.

Your account

You need an account to use Happinly. You must provide accurate information, keep your sign-in credentials to yourself, and be at least 13 years old. You are responsible for activity that happens through your account. You can delete your account at any time in the app (Profile → Delete account); this permanently removes your data.

Your content

You own the pins, notes, and photos you add to Happinly. By uploading content, you give us the limited license we need to store it, display it back to you, and — if you share a collection — show it to the people you have invited. If you delete content or your account, this license ends.

You must have the right to upload the content you add, and you agree not to upload content that is illegal, infringes others' rights, or is abusive, hateful, or misleading.

Acceptable use

You agree not to misuse the app — including attempting to access other users' data, disrupting or overloading our servers, reverse engineering the service, or using the app for anything unlawful. We may suspend or terminate accounts that violate these terms.

Premium subscription

• Happinly offers an optional auto-renewing Premium subscription that removes the free plan's limits on collections and pins.
• The price is shown in the app before you buy. Payment is charged to your Apple ID, and the subscription renews automatically unless you cancel at least 24 hours before the end of the current period.
• You can manage or cancel the subscription in your device's subscription settings (Settings → Apple ID → Subscriptions). Refunds are handled by Apple in accordance with App Store terms.
• If you cancel, Premium remains active until the end of the paid period, after which the free plan's limits apply again. Content beyond the free limits is not deleted, but you may not be able to add more until you are within the limits.

The service

We work hard to keep Happinly available and your data safe, but the app is provided "as is", without warranties. Map data and place information come from third parties and may be inaccurate or outdated — use your own judgment when visiting places, and stay safe. We may change, suspend, or discontinue features, and we will give reasonable notice if we ever discontinue the service entirely.

Liability

To the extent permitted by law, Naarte is not liable for indirect or consequential losses arising from your use of the app, including loss of data caused by circumstances outside our reasonable control. Nothing in these terms limits rights you have as a consumer under Norwegian law.

How we handle your personal data is described in our Privacy Policy.

Changes to these terms

We may update these terms from time to time. If we make material changes, we will update this page and change the effective date above. Continuing to use the app after changes take effect means you accept the updated terms.
